Our View: ... Questions 3, 4 and 5

Question 3 would allow Uber and Lyft drivers to unionize, Question 4 would legalize and regulate psychedelic substances while Question 5 would raise tipped workers pay to the $15 minimum wage.

We urge a “no” vote on all three because they are matters best decided by lawmakers. In addition, there are legal barriers facing Questions 3 and 4.

Question 5 is strongly opposed by restaurant workers who believe approval will raise meal prices and force businesses to close. We share their concerns.
